Celebrating Pasifika Festival & polyfest 2026

The month of March was a vibrant celebration of our Pasifika cultures, and our Tula'i team had the privilege of attending both the Pasifika Festival at Western Springs Stadium and ASB Polyfest at Manukau Sports Bowl.

At Pasifika Festival, we had the opportunity to visit all eight cultural villages and support many familiar faces who were either performing on stage or sharing their work within the festival stalls. It was also special for us to talanoa with several inspiring individuals about the significance of Pasifika Festival and what it means for our communities. You can watch these conversations on our social media platforms: @tulai_nz (Instagram) and @tulaitoks (TikTok).

Over three incredible days at Polyfest, we were proud to support our tuakana, past alumni, and partnered schools as they showcased their talents across the festival stages. It was uplifting to reconnect with many familiar faces and witness the passion, dedication, and cultural pride displayed in each performance. During our time there, we also had the privilege of talanoa with Claire Achmad, Mana Mokopuna – Children and Young People's Commission, the New Zealand Police, and Moana Pasifika. Keep an eye on our socials — our Polyfest video will be released later this week!

We are incredibly proud of our tuakana, alumni, and partnered schools who took part in Polyfest across all six stages. The hard work, commitment, and countless hours of preparation were evident in every performance. You represented your cultures with immense pride and excellence, and it was truly an honour for us to witness you flourish on stage.
