Introducing our 2026 tula’i ngāue tuakana
TUAKANA ANNOUNCEMENT
Year after year, Tula’i Ngāue nurtures and empowers young Pasifika high school leaders who are keen to lead and give back to our Pasifika communities. With invaluable lessons of leadership, culture and community, students have the opportunity and take their leadership further by returning as Tuakana- mentors who play a vital role in delivering and growing Tula’i Ngāue.
In recent years, interest in our Tuakana development and movement has grown rapidly, driving record engagement and innovation. To keep our momentum, we welcomed 14 Tuakana leaders this year, who proved to be one of the most passionate and caring group of rangatahi who led our programme with love and humility. They are often seen as the highlight of this year’s programme.
